У меня есть UIImage, то есть UIImageOrientationUp (портрет), который я хотел бы повернуть против часовой стрелки на 90 градусов (для альбомной ориентации). Я не хочу использовать CGAffineTransform. Я хочу, чтобы пиксели UIImage фактически сдвинули положение. Я использую блок кода (показанный ниже), изначально предназначенный для изменения размера UIImage, чтобы сделать это. Я устанавливаю целевой размер как текущий размер UIImage, но получаю ошибку:

Я считаю, что самый простой способ (и потокобезопасность тоже) заключается в следующем:

//assume that the image is loaded in landscape mode from disk

UIImage * portraitImage = [[UIImage alloc] initWithCGImage: landscapeImage.CGImage
                                                     scale: 1.0
                                               orientation: UIImageOrientationRight];

Примечание: Как сказал Brainware , это только изменяет данные ориентации изображения - данные пикселей не затрагиваются. Для некоторых приложений этого может быть недостаточно.

У меня были проблемы со всем вышеперечисленным, включая утвержденный ответ.Я преобразовал категорию Харди обратно в метод, так как все, что я хотел, это вращать изображение.Вот код и использование:

Simple. Просто измените флаг ориентации изображения.

UIImage *oldImage = [UIImage imageNamed:@"whatever.jpg"];
UIImageOrientation newOrientation;
switch (oldImage.imageOrientation) {

        newOrientation = UIImageOrientationLandscapeLeft;
        break;
    case UIImageOrientationLandscapeLeft:
        newOrientation = UIImageOrientationDown;
        break;
    case UIImageOrientationDown:
        newOrientation = UIImageOrientationLandscapeRight;
        break;
    case UIImageOrientationLandscapeRight:
        newOrientation = UIImageOrientationUp;
