JUnit / Spring / MongoDB: модульный тест не пройден из-за нулевого значения

Я довольно новичок в модульном тестировании и начал писать простой тест, чтобы убедиться, что возвращаемый запрос не пуст, используя assertJ. Я использую Fongo для моего модульного теста, и, хотя у меня нет ошибок, возвращаемое значение всегда равно null.

Я уверен, что dataVersionDaoMongo.findByDBAndCollection(dbname, collectionName) возвращает ноль (возвращает DataVersion объект, который является нулевым), поэтому тест не пройден Как бы я на самом деле пошел и заставить его вернуть DataVersion, который не является нулевым?

Это то, что я добавляю в свой класс модульных тестов:

@Autowired
    private MongoOperations mongoOperations;

Тогда

DataVersion dataVersion = new DataVersion();
dataVersion.setDbName("DBDataVersion");
dataVersion.setVersion("version1");
dataVersion.setCollectionName("DataVersion");
mongoOperations.insert(dataVersion);
assertThat(dataVersionDaoMongo.findByDBAndCollection(dataVersionDaoMongo.getDbName(), dataVersion.getCollectionName())).isNotNull();

Юнит-тест пройден, потому что он больше не возвращает ноль, но я больше не использую Fongo. Я не уверен, правильно ли я поступаю или нет.

Вы вставляете документ в коллекцию mycollection в тесте, но dao запрашивает DataVersion коллекцию.

Также вы не определяете dbName и collectionName в хранимом объекте, следовательно, он не будет выбран запросом, который нацелен на эти два поля.
