Я искал в Интернете и пробовал разные вещи в течение нескольких дней (включая много похожих вопросов по этому поводу), но я все еще не нашел ответа.

Я хостинг на героку и использую cloud9 для разработки (в рельсах). По разработке все работает хорошо. На производстве кажется, что нормальный javascript работает, но код jquery не работает. Я не могу понять, что происходит. Я опубликую ниже некоторый код, который может быть полезен. Я уверен, что это простое исправление, которое я просто пропускаю.

Я предварительно скомпилировал ресурсы и добавил их в git. Javascript работает и обновляется, когда я делаю это, это просто jquery, который вообще не работает.

Я тоже не знаю, имеет ли это какое-либо отношение к начальной загрузке.

Действительно, я очень ценю любую помощь или указатели.

В ваших активах / javascript / application.js код должен выглядеть так:

//= require jquery_ujs
//= require popper
//= require bootstrap-sprockets

В вашей ошибке указано, что Popper не определено. Изучите bootstrap-rubygem документы, которые вам потребуются, чтобы получить поппер, прежде чем вам потребуется bootstrap-sprockets, например:

//= require bootstrap-sprockets

Я думаю, это твоя проблема. Если вы не определите свои зависимости правильно, то assets:precompile не соберет все необходимые файлы, а ваши css и js не будут работать в рабочей среде.
