Ошибка Gradle: найдено несколько файлов с независимым от ОС путем 'META-INF / androidx.localbroadcastmanager_localbroadcastmanager.version'

Мне понадобилась библиотека android-image-cropper для моего приложения для Android, поэтому я добавил ее в зависимость от gradle. После синхронизации обнаружился ряд ошибок.

Вот один, и градл не исправит:

Найдено более одного файла с независимым от ОС путем 'META-INF / androidx.localbroadcastmanager_localbroadcastmanager.version'

Я не знаю, что здесь не так, и не мог понять, из-за чего возникают проблемы. Я немного искал и нашел какое-то другое решение для ошибок другого типа, подобных этому, но не помогло вообще.

Кто-нибудь может подсказать, что здесь на самом деле не так и что нужно исправить?

Вы можете сделать что-то подобное в вашем build.gradle

       android.packagingOptions {
          exclude 'META-INF/androidx.localbroadcastmanager_localbroadcastmanager.version'
        }

Попробуйте вместо этого

api 'com.theartofdev.edmodo: android-image-cropper: 2.7.0'
