Подкласс QPlainText не расширяется, чтобы заполнить макет

Я не понимаю, почему пример CodeEditor с веб-сайта Qt не работает должным образом. Каждый раз, когда я запускаю код, он отображает его так, очень маленький и не расширяющийся, чтобы занять все доступное пространство. У кого-нибудь есть идеи почему? Я даже пытался установить фиксированный размер, размер политики и минимальный размер. Не уверен, что мне здесь не хватает.
