Я использовал версию 4.0.31. Наконец-то и даже получаю ту же утечку в последней версии netty-4.1.29.Final согласно https://netty.io/downloads.html.Любые обновления приветствуются.

httpRequest.release (), кажется, работает нормально.httpRequest обрабатывается в форме объекта, который нам нужен для освобождения этого объекта.
