Я имею дело с версией 28 Android, Firebase 16.

, реализующей bottomNavView, возвращает мне следующую ошибку: 

The following classes could not be instantiated: 
- android.support.design.widget.BottomNavigationView

Я пытался изменить свой стиль AppTheme на Base.Theme, но неразрешите его.

Попробуйте перейти в «Файл -> Неправильные кэши / перезапустить» и сделать недействительными и перезапустить, возможно, это поможет.
