Использование dbm.gnu для Python 3.6.8 в macOS

У меня проблемы с использованием dbm.gnu для Python 3.6.8 на macOS.Я установил gdbm в моей виртуальной среде Python с помощью conda ... но при попытке вызвать dbm.gnu я получил следующее сообщение об ошибке:

Есть ли надежный способ заставить его работать?Я могу отключить кэш, установив cache = False при вызове download_file из астропии ... Но я бы очень хотел установить cache = True.Любая помощь приветствуется.

Так что я закончил тем, что сделал что-то неуместное, но работающее, которое должно было изменить единственную строку в "/anaconda3/envs/py36-stable/lib/python3.6/dbm/gnu.py" с 

from _gdbm import *

до 

from _dbm import *

... Это помогло мне.
