Получение ошибки при подключении к базе данных mysql из eclipse с использованием hibernate.cfg.xml

Ниже приведена ошибка при попытке подключиться к mysql. 

ERROR: Could not create connection to database server.
Exception in thread "main" org.hibernate.exception.JDBCConnectionException: Could not open connection
