Метод делегата: "willSpeakRangeOfSpeechString" AVSpeechSynthesizerDelegate не вызывается

В моем приложении я хочу, чтобы Сири прочитала текст.Это отлично работает.Но я также хочу использовать методы делегата AVSpeechSynthesizerDelegate.Эти 2 метода вызываются правильно, но willSpeakRangeOfSpeechString не:

  • speechSynthesizer(_ synthesizer: AVSpeechSynthesizer, didStart utterance: AVSpeechUtterance)
  • speechSynthesizer(_ synthesizer: AVSpeechSynthesizer, didFinish utterance: AVSpeechUtterance)

Это мой код для генерации AVSpeechSynthesizer.Это сделано в didSelectItemAt моего UICollectionViewController: 

let utterance = AVSpeechUtterance(string: "testString")
utterance.rate = 0.5
utterance.volume = 1

utterance.preUtteranceDelay = 0.0
utterance.postUtteranceDelay = 0.0

self.synthesizer.speak(utterance)

AVSpeechSynthesizer объявлен в начале класса, а делегат установлен в viewDidLoad: 

override func viewDidLoad() {
   super.viewDidLoad()
    self.synthesizer.delegate = self
}

Почему этот метод делегата не вызывается?

Конечно, я реализовал AVSpeechSynthesizerDelegate и импортировал AVFoundation.

Эта ошибка заставила меня искать 2 дня подряд, не найдя ответа, проблема в том,вам нужно добавить AVSpeechSynthesizerDelegate в верхней части вашего viewcontroller:

На основе ваших комментариев.вам нужно указать язык utterance.Для немецкого - это de-DE

  utterance.voice = AVSpeechSynthesisVoice(language: "de-DE")
