Исключительная ситуация при вычислении выражения SpringEL: "# fields.hasErrors ('thing ')"

Я пытаюсь создать страницу регистрации для своего приложения, и когда я нажимаю кнопку отправки, появляется эта ошибка: Exception evaluating SpringEL expression: "#fields.hasErrors('firstName')"

Насколько я понимаю, Thymleaf использует геттеры POJO для проверки, и это означает, что атрибут firstName не можетне может быть найдено.Для регистрации я использую DTO для пользователя, DTO только для регистрации.Если я использую сущность пользователя, эта ошибка никогда не появляется.Что я делаю не так?
