когда я обновляю формы Xamarin до версии 3.2.0 или выше, я получаю следующую ошибку:

Error       Position 68:29. Signature (return type) of EventHandler
"TimeToSport.Views.ItemsPage.OnCanvasViewPaintSurfaceAsync" doesn't match
the event type  TimeToSport

Ошибка исходит из этого кода (xaml):

В файле CS:

SKCanvas canvas = surface.Canvas;

Из недавнего кода обновления форм Xamarin за не поддерживает Task тип возврата в качестве подписи для обработчиков событий.

Удалите Task и замените его на void

async void OnCanvasViewPaintSurfaceAsync(object sender, SKPaintSurfaceEventArgs args1)
{
        args = args1;
        await drawGaugeAsync();

}

public async Task drawGaugeAsync(){

}

Обновление : public async Task drawGaugeAsync() может вернуть Task
