Ошибка слияния манифеста, ошибка компиляции

С момента загрузки последней версии SDK и установки Android Studio мой проект не удается собрать.Я получаю следующее сообщение:

В Merged Manifest написано так: 

Merging Errors: Error: tools:replace specified at line:6 for attribute android:appComponentFactory, but no new value specified app main manifest (this file), line 5 Error: Validation failed, exiting app main manifest (this file)

Я пробовал много решений по другим вопросам, но без результата, большое спасибо.

Я столкнулся с такой же ситуацией, когда внедрял API-интерфейс maps в свое приложение.Я решил эту проблему, добавив следующий код в файл AndroidManifest.xml и Gradle.properties.

В AndroidMainfest.xml добавил этот код 

    android:appComponentFactory="androidx.core.app.CoreComponentFactory"
    tools:replace="android:appComponentFactory"

Вgradle.properties добавил этот код 

   android.useAndroidX=true
   android.enableJetifier=true

"tools: replace =" android: appComponentFactory "<- в этой строке вы говорите слиянию Manifest, что вы собираетесь предоставить новое значение для атрибута android: appComponentFactory, но вы этого не делаете.если у вас есть две опции: </p>

  1. Удалить инструменты: replace = "android: appComponentFactory"

  2. Укажите новое значение для атрибута android: appComponentFactory "
