как можно импортировать android.support.v7.app.Appcompatactivity в андроид студии?

Я новичок в кодировании.Я использовал этот импорт android.support.v7.app.Appcompatactivity для mainactivity.java, но получил красное сообщение об ошибке:

не удается разрешить символ v7

Я сделал недействительными кэшиперезагрузите тоже, но это не сработало.Если я запускаю этот код без этой строки, мое приложение работает на Android 5.1.1, но не работает на galaxy j6 Для чего эта строка?

Это библиотеки поддержки, обеспечивающие обратную совместимость некоторых новых функций.Google переместил библиотеки поддержки из пакетов android.support в androidx.Вы не можете использовать оба, вот почему вы получаете сообщение об ошибке.

Рекомендуется перейти на androidx.Итак, вы должны нормально удалить пакет v7.

Какая ОС у вас на j6?Какое сообщение об ошибке вы получаете?
