Перебирая очень устаревшую информацию о постепенном закрытии основного приложения asp.net, может кто-нибудь заполнить ее обновленной информацией.

Вариант использования: Я хотел бы отменить регистрацию в консуле при выходе из приложения.

Для получения плавного завершения вы можете попробовать IHostApplicationLifetime.
