установка узла перед сборкой - fallback-to-build

Question

Когда я устанавливаю bcrypt модуль для моего проекта hapi js, он не устанавливается и показывает что-то вроде

node-pre-gyp install --fallback-to-build

Iпопытался установить, запустив;

npm i node-pre-gyp

, но он не работает.

Я бы посоветовал вам использовать bcryptjs

Это возможно потому, что вы не используете стабильную версию узла. Проверьте документы по npm здесь

node-gyp работает только со стабильными / выпущенными версиями узла. Поскольку модуль bcrypt использует node-gyp для сборки и установки, вам потребуется стабильная версия узла для использования bcrypt. Если вы этого не сделаете, вы, вероятно, увидите ошибку, которая начинается с:
