Низкое качество изображения при изменении размера

Я пытаюсь изменить размер изображения, используя найденный класс здесь . Проблема в том, что я получаю действительно худший результат, это оригинал:

, как вы можете видеть, результат изображения действительно плох. Я пытаюсь играть с классом SimpleImage, в частности, я изменил $compression=75 на $compression=100, я также пытался с -1, но результат тот же.
