Панель навигации с графиком навигации не работает

Я попытался создать новый проект с активностью панели навигации. Получил автогенерированные фрагменты с моделями просмотра. При нажатии в навигационном меню он не перемещается к соответствующим фрагментам.

Я проверил идентификаторы на графике навигации с помощью меню навигации, они совпадают. Я новичок в навигационных графиках. Любая помощь будет высоко ценится.

В вашем activity_main макете используйте 

<androidx.drawerlayout.widget.DrawerLayout>

  <include/>

  <com.google.android.material.navigation.NavigationView/>

</androidx.drawerlayout.widget.DrawerLayout>

вместо 

<androidx.drawerlayout.widget.DrawerLayout>

     <com.google.android.material.navigation.NavigationView/>

     <include/>

</androidx.drawerlayout.widget.DrawerLayout>
...
