Как клонировать репозиторий github с помощью сценария конвейера Jenkins?

Я относительно новичок в концепции CI / CD.

Я пытаюсь клонировать репозиторий Github, используя декларативный конвейер в Jenkins (без SCM).

Если я делаю это без каких-либо затем в выводе консоли я вижу, что Дженкинс уже пытается клонировать репо, но это занимает очень много времени. Я уже вижу, что в рабочей области Jenkins у меня есть папка с именем моего репозитория github, но в ней есть только папка .git, и она занимает вечность, но никогда не тянет репо. После поиска по inte rnet я обнаружил, что разрешения на доступ к хранилищу отсутствуют.

Затем я добавил учетные данные моего репозитория Github в Jenkins. У меня есть следующий сценарий.

Синтаксическая ошибка при использовании имени пользователя и пароля на этапе. Вы должны иметь это как ${GIT_USERNAME}, а не {GIT_USERNAME} в одиночку.

При этом вам нужно явно указать, в какую ветку вы должны зайти.

Я полагаю, вы по умолчанию хочу оформить заказ на главную ветку. Поэтому используйте следующее:

   agent any
   stages {
    stage('Checkout') {
      steps {
        script {
           // The below will clone your repo and will be checked out to master branch by default.
           git credentialsId: 'jenkins-user-github', url: 'https://github.com/aakashsehgal/FMU.git'
           // Do a ls -lart to view all the files are cloned. It will be clonned. This is just for you to be sure about it.
           sh "ls -lart ./*" 
           // List all branches in your repo.

           // Checkout to a specific branch in your repo.

Если вы хотите оформить заказ на указанную ветку c по умолчанию, то используйте ниже на этапе конвейера. С помощью приведенной ниже части вам не нужно будет запускать команду git checkout отдельно.
