Ошибка типа: fs.existsSyn c не является функцией (Vue / Electron)

Question

Попытка получить доступ к электрону изнутри vue, и он выдает ошибку TypeError.

TypeError: fs.existsSync is not a function

Поиск в Google не сильно помог. Я нашел один пост, в котором предлагалось бы добавить следующее к vue .config. js. Это не сработало для меня.
