как использовать statsmodels.api.OLS в python

Я начинаю изучать машинное обучение и пытаюсь реализовать Linear Regression Backward Elimination Вот код: 

import statsmodels.api as sm
x = sm.add_constant(x)
x_opt = x[:,[0,1,2,3,4,5]]

Вот 2 строки из переменной y: 

array([[2.01120333],[1.99942997]])

Проблема в том, что в вашем коде x есть dtype=object вместо dtype=float, то есть x не является числовой переменной c и поэтому не может использоваться в качестве регрессора. После преобразования x в float ваш код будет работать.
