logMissingResource JSF1064: невозможно найти или обслужить ресурс, /index.xhtml

Question

При развертывании моего веб-приложения на tomcat 9 отображается следующее сообщение:

28-Feb-2020 14: 21: 01.441 ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ [http-nio-8080-exe c - 7] com.sun.faces.application.resource.ResourceHandlerImpl.logMissingResource JSF1064: Невозможно найти или обслужить ресурс, /index.xhtml.

Приложение основано на этом учебник.

При развертывании браузер не может найти ресурс, который возвращает HTTP-статус 404 - Не найдено.

для доступа к приложению.

Почему сервер не может найти ресурс?
