Я изготовил коробочную диаграмму с непрерывной осью X, не обозначенную geom_boxplot() в ggplot2. Тем не менее, поскольку есть много полей, они выглядят как узкие линии. Я думаю, что странное поведение исходит от ggplot, пытающегося автоматически уклоняться от ваших боксов. При установке position = position_dodge(width = 0) график создается, как и ожидалось, без изменения расположения прямоугольников вдоль оси x. (Но выдает предупреждение о перекрывающихся интервалах х)
