java .lang.IllegalStateException: не установлен NavController для ошибки xxxxx (адрес местоположения)

Я создавал активность на домашней странице пользователя в Android, и мое приложение зависало, когда приложение пыталось получить доступ к активности UserHome после входа в систему. Я не могу понять, почему это происходит.

Ошибка java .lang.IllegalStateException: Activity com.example.commerce. UserHome@xxxxxxx не установлен NavController на XXXXXXXXXXX

        NavigationUI.setupWithNavController(navigationView, navController);
    }

Может кто-нибудь объяснить, чем это вызвано.
