Я думаю, что вы пытаетесь извлечь значения из тегов XML, и если это так, то вы делаете это неправильно. Атрибуты Объект содержит атрибуты определенного тега и для получения значения вам необходимо проделать дополнительную работу. Как и в начале тега, существуют отдельные события для содержимого и конца тега. Переменная current_tag будет отслеживать текущий обрабатываемый тег. Ниже приведен пример кода:
