MSMessagesAppPresentationStyle не работает

У меня проблема с установкой MSMessagesAppPresentationStyle контроллера представления. Вызывается метод, но AppPresentationStyle не изменяется.

func searchBarTextDidBeginEditing(_ searchBar: UISearchBar) {

    print(self.presentationStyle)
