getLayoutParams () из LinearLayout возвращает ноль

Я хочу реализовать компонент BottomSheetBehavoir на экране активности, но когда я хочу инициализировать компонент с помощью BottomSheetBehavoir.from(view), метод getLayoutParams () вызывает исключение нулевого указателя.

Это мой код инициализации в onCreate (): 

LinearLayout llBottomSheet = findViewById(R.id.bottom_sheet_live_tracking_list_container);
BottomSheetBehavior bottomSheetBehavior = BottomSheetBehavior.from(llBottomSheet);

И это мой xml макет:

Итак, после нескольких дней отдыха и go возвращаясь к проблеме, я нашел решение. Для моего LinearLayout, который вызывает исключение нулевого указателя getLayoutParams (), я использую идентификатор из нижнего листа xml, который вы можете увидеть в моем посте android:id="@+id/bottom_sheet_live_tracking_list_container". В моем основном макете родительский элемент CoordinatorLayout включает макет моего нижнего листа, например: 

<androidx.coordinatorlayout.widget.CoordinatorLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:animateLayoutChanges="true">

... other stuff ....

<include
    android:id="@+id/activity_live_tracking_bottom_sheet"
    layout="@layout/bottom_sheet_live_tracking_list" />

Знайте, я пытаюсь использовать идентификатор из тега включения (android:id="@+id/activity_live_tracking_bottom_sheet") и работает. Я не могу дать вам объяснение, почему другой идентификатор, помеченный LinearLayout, возвращает ноль для метода getLayoutParams ().

Как указано в документации BottomSheetBehaviour * устарело . Если вы все еще хотите использовать его, убедитесь, что он является дочерним по отношению к CoordinatorLayout, поскольку это является обязательным условием для его использования в соответствии с do c. Лучше бы добавить этот ответ в качестве комментария, но не достаточно репутации ...
