Тупик в Xamarin.Forms

У меня проблема с моим приложением Xamarin. Приложение использует пользовательский API для моего сайта. У меня нет большого опыта в async/await методах.

Следующий код показывает App.xaml.cs:

Это один из различных async методов. Когда я опускаю ConfigureAwait(false), я захожу в тупик. Когда я добавляю его в код, я сталкиваюсь с ошибкой.

Не могли бы вы мне помочь.

Вы можете использовать Task.Run( //call your async method here );

Так что в вашем случае: 

 Task.Run(Startup);
...
