Вам не нужно создавать другую модель. Все, что вам нужно, это убедиться, что вы добавили has_many_attached :photos в файл модели и используете url_for(self.photos[0]) для получения URL. Вы также можете go с помощью self.photos[0].service_url

Вы получаете тот же NoMethodError, потому что для cover_photo не определен метод изображения. Один из способов исправить это может быть таким:
