Почему я получаю сообщение об ошибке при попытке создать временную таблицу для дальнейшего анализа данных ..., я пытаюсь создать временную таблицу из этого запроса, чтобы присоединить ее к таблицам, которые уже существует ..?

Эта ошибка мешает мне выполнить мою задачу ... она читается следующим образом. Предложение ORDER BY недопустимо в представлениях, встроенных функциях, производных таблицах, подзапросах и общих табличных выражениях, если только Также указаны TOP, OFFSET или FOR XML.

Когда я удаляю порядок по функциям, но это после последней строки кода, это дает мне недопустимую синтаксическую ошибку ... Любой совет?

Довольно сложно следовать вашему точному примеру, но вот как вы могли бы использовать подход TOP 100 PERCENT.

SELECT 
    *
INTO
    #temp
FROM 
(
    SELECT TOP 100 PERCENT
        [object_id], [name]
    FROM 
        [sys].[tables]
    ORDER BY
        [name]
) A

Но обычно более правильным является просто удалить предложение ORDER BY:

SELECT 
    *
INTO
    #temp
FROM 
(
    SELECT
        [object_id], [name]
    FROM 
        [sys].[tables]
) A
...
