.htaccess для папки root в подкаталоге «/ shop»! Конфликтующие файлы htaccess

есть веб-сайт example.com с html (например, домашняя страница будет example.com/index.html).

Я хочу добавить магазин в подкаталог этого домена (example. com / shop), где, естественно, домашней страницей будет example.com/shop/index.php.

Моя проблема в том, что домашняя страница магазина (example.com/shop/) возвращает 403 Forbidden страница ошибки. Все остальные страницы в Магазине работают нормально (например, example.com/shop/category) .

Я заметил, что если я удалю файл .htaccess из каталога root (example.com), страница будет загружается правильно, что наводит меня на мысль, что существует проблема с настройкой этого файла, а не файла, созданного бэк-офисом PrestaShop.

Я понятия не имею, как следует настроить .htaccess, чтобы мой /
