Каким будет способ протестировать компонент, который полагается на начальное состояние для условного рендеринга?

Например, showLessFlag зависит от состояния, а состояние тестирования в react-testing-library контрпродуктивно .

итак, как мне проверить это условие в компоненте CommentList

Любой запрос getBy* в библиотеке тестирования-реакции выдаст ошибку, если совпадение не найдено. Если вы хотите проверить / подтвердить отсутствие элемента, тогда вы хотите использовать любой из запросов queryBy*, они возвращают ноль, если совпадений не найдено.
