Heroku cli (brew install heroku): ArgumentError: пользователь emixam23 не существует

Я пытаюсь установить Heroku на свой Ma c, следуя do c https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/heroku-cli#download -and-install , но у меня возникает проблема при выполнении команды для установки heroku: 

MBP-de-Emixam23:~ emixam23$ brew install heroku

Есть идеи? : o

В моем случае проблема была вызвана переменной среды USER.

Чтобы узнать, могут ли переменные env быть причиной проблемы, выполните: 

printenv | grep $TEXT_IN_ERROR

где переменная это следующее значение: 

  ArgumentError: user $TEXT_IN_ERROR doesn't exist
...
