Мне нужна помощь с синтаксисом связывания WPF:

Однако я не хочу, чтобы WebSitePricesView предоставлял PriceList, я хочу связать DataGridCollectionViewSource непосредственно с ApplicationPresenter.PriceList.

Я не уверен, так как из вашего кода не очень понятно, откуда идут данные в PriceList, но я вижу, что эта коллекция просто пуста во втором xaml.

Создание ObjectDataProvider в xaml в обоих случаях просто создает объект типа ApplicationPresenter через конструктор по умолчанию. Ваш конструктор создает пустую коллекцию PriceList. (Конструктор Яна создает PriceList и заполняет его поддельными данными. Вот почему его пример работает).

Итак, DataGridCollectionViewSource во втором xaml вашего примера в основном ссылается на ApplicationPresenter с пустым PriceList.

Первый xaml, напротив, ссылается на PriceList объекта WebSitePricesView, который, как мне кажется, каким-то образом заполняется где-то за пределами данного фрагмента кода.

Если моя теория хороша, удаление ObjectDataProvider из первого xaml ничего не изменит - он все равно будет работать, потому что данные идут непосредственно в Presenter.PriceList.

Но, опять же, я не уверен.
