document.attachEvent("mouseup", dismissmenu, true);

должно быть так, как я думаю для '.attachEvent':

document.attachEvent("onmouseup", dismissmenu, true);

Я знаю, что один или другие методы прикрепления событий напрямую используют часть on. Я считаю, что это IE. Кроме того, некоторые события лучше работают с элементом body, чем с документом. Я использую инструментарий Dojo и функцию dojo.connect () для обычной установки событий и прикрепляю события onclick и т. Д. К элементу body.
