Если при открытии приложения нет интернета, ошибка работает должным образом, но если приложение теряет соединение после того, как оно изначально открылось с интернет-соединением, ошибка отображается 3 раза, когда я, очевидно, хочу толькопокажи один раз.

Ошибка делегата View, вероятно, должна быть self, а не nil, но я не уверен, что это решит проблему. Если это не так, проблема, вероятно, заключается в том, что NSNotificationCenter отправляет слишком много уведомлений своему наблюдателю (в данном случае checkNetworkStatus. Самое простое (но, вероятно, менее изящное) решение - сохранить переменную счетчика уведомлений, которая увеличивается при отображении ошибки Просмотр и отображение только ошибки Просмотр, если счетчик равен нулю. Лучшее решение - проверить входящие уведомления и по-разному реагировать на различные уведомления (или вообще не реагировать).
