Для проекта класса я пытаюсь написать простую программу чтения RSS для своего класса Java. Я пытаюсь пройтись по дереву DOM, просто чтобы получить опыт, делая это, хотя я знаю, что есть более эффективные способы и инструменты. У меня есть ReaderObject, который получает основной заголовок, ссылку, описание и список для хранения объектов RSSItem, которые имеют переменные экземпляра заголовок, ссылку, описание, дату публикации и руководство. Я надеялся с этой информацией, я мог разобрать и воспроизвести ее хорошим способом. Я застреваю с частью RSSItem, так как мой текст там пуст. Я также не знаю, нормально ли это, и понимаю ли я это полностью ...

Другой вопрос: когда вы получаетеChildNodes, а затем с циклом for вы получаете каждый элемент, зачем мне нужен getFirstChild на этом этапе. Я понял это из примера с книгой, но не знаю почему.

Для RSS вы можете использовать более конкретный API - Рим здесь - это статья о том, как его использовать.

И вышеприведенное getFirstChild() необходимо, поскольку ваш Element не содержит текста - он содержит узел Text, который в свою очередь имеет текст.

Проблема вашего подхода в том, что вы изучаете каждый элемент без учета его иерархии.Например, когда вы видите элемент , это может быть заголовок канала или заголовок элемента.

Я думаю, что лучший способ справиться с деревом DOM - это нисходящий алгоритм:
