php mail () не работает при настройке localhost

Моя цель - отправить электронное письмо (SMTP) на локальный почтовый сервер, используя php.Я не могу заставить его работать, и у меня мало представления о том, в чем проблема.

У меня есть установка (ноутбук с Vista), состоящая из WAMP, sendmail и hMailServer.

Я пытаюсь отправить электронное письмо на адрес test@localhost.localdomain с помощью следующего простого сценария php.

Однако функция mail () завершается ошибкой, и в hMailServer регистрируетсяПохоже, ошибка «Адрес недействителен».

hMailServer настроен для одного домена: localhost.localdomain с двумя учетными записями test@localhost.localdomain и wamp@localhost.localdomain.
