Я пытаюсь создать дерево каталогов на основе структуры папок и различных файлов в ней, используя Codeigniter в качестве платформы.У меня представление работает нормально (за исключением ссылок на файлы для загрузки указанного файла.) Я очень новичок в Jquery и java. Мой код основан на чем-то из Interwebs, в котором упоминается возможность добавлять ссылки для скачивания, но ничего не объясняет, как.

хм, это более php вещь, я думаю? Вы устанавливаете ссылку на свой PHP-скрипт, передавая имя файла в виде переменной

href="download.php?file=folder\folder\folder\filename.ext" (может понадобиться хэшировать его / кодировать URL)
