NSTextView, appendString и ошибка с NSConcreteTextStorage

Я впервые использую NSTextView, и мне трудно понять, как это работает, у меня есть такая строка:

    [[commandHistoryTextView textStorage] appendString:outputString];

и я получаю эту ошибку:

-appendString: - это метод для NSMutableString.NSTextStorage является подклассом NSMutable Attributed String.Вы можете вызвать -appendString: для textStorage mutableString примерно так:

[commandHistoryTextView.textStorage.mutableString appendString:outputString];
