Нет известного мне Java API для Spotlight (я не думаю, что он был добавлен к устаревшему, теперь устаревшему мосту Cocoa-Java на мосту). Существует процедурный C API для Spotlight, однако его можно обернуть с помощью JNI .

Я нашел какой-то код , который упаковывает командную строку mdfind, у меня отлично работает:
