(( \(Right x) -> x )  (parseCSV file))

говорит, что почти невозможно, чтобы parseCSV мог анализировать файл постепенно и начать возвращать части результата без использования всего файла. И это невозможно, если

  • parseCSV должен быть Left something в случае неправильного ввода и Right result в случае правильно сформированного ввода и
  • весь ввод должен быть использован, если он правильно сформирован

До того, как полный ввод будет использован, никто не может знать, будет ли анализ успешным, поэтому невозможно определить, является ли результат Left errorMessage или Right result.

Кроме того, вы используете результат анализа дважды, один раз для добавления сообщений в файл журнала и один раз для определения кода выхода. Второе использование содержит ссылку на него, поэтому его (или, в случае многократных вычислений, содержимое файла) нельзя собирать.

С другой стороны, вы используете этот фрагмент кода в четырех местах. В зависимости от того, как компилятор выполняет общее удаление подвыражений, файл анализируется до четырех раз. Безопаснее связать результат разбора с именем, чтобы избежать многократных вычислений.

Если вы знаете , что ваш файл правильно сформирован, вы можете уменьшить использование пространства, анализируя файл кусками, например, по линиям и выполнение обхода только один раз (регистрация и определение кода выхода объединены). Подходящим шаблоном для этого обхода является Control.Monad.foldM,

Подобная стратегия возможна, если линии независимы, так что наличие искаженных линий не влияет на обработку правильно сформированных линий до и после, тогда каждая строка будет проанализирована до Either ParseError Record. Если искаженная строка влияет только на следующие строки, но не на предыдущую, это все еще возможно, остановив анализ или переключив синтаксический анализатор при обнаружении искаженной линии.

Но если неправильно сформированная строка делает недействительным весь файл, это может быть невозможно сделать в более или менее постоянном пространстве. Это можно сделать за два прохода, один для проверки правильности формы и один для анализа, если ожидаемая структура позволяет это.
