java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: нельзя добавить в макет: ограничение должно быть строкой

У меня проблемы с CardLayout Manager в моем коде. Я не могу понять, почему я получаю это исключение. Я передаю строку в методе CardLayout.show(), но все же я получаю эту ошибку. Пожалуйста помоги. Это мой основной класс.

Ошибка исходит из строки 

this.add(cards);

Поскольку вы изменили расположение этого элемента на CardLayout, вы должны указать строку в качестве второго аргумента.

Вы уверены, что хотите Main иметь CardLayout? Ваша панель cards уже содержит такой макет.
