Десериализация с использованием c # не удалась - PullRequest

Я пытаюсь десериализовать этот xml:

    <a href="/dir/index?sid=396545298">History</a>

    <a href="/dir/index?sid=396545300">Performing Arts</a>
    <a href="/dir/index?sid=396545231">Philosophy</a>

Это, кстати, xml, который yahoo api возвращает при запросе категорий и подкатегорий.

Этот код, который должен десериализовать его:

и я получаю исключение, говорящее: В документе XML есть ошибка (2, 2) .

Сведения об исключении:

"<query xmlns=''> was not expected."

Согласно моему комментарию, я бы проанализировал XML, используя Linq to Xml , приведенный ниже код работает, однако я бы предложил разделить синтаксический анализ вне оператора Using, чтобы вы могли избавиться от Response и Streamreader..
