Как изменить цвет изображения с помощью PHP

У меня есть изображение штрих-кода, и я хочу изменить черный цвет на любой другой, более красочный.Как я могу сделать это на PHP?

Если ваше изображение черно-белое, вы можете использовать функцию imagefilter(): 

$image = imagecreatefromjpeg('filename.jpg');
imagefilter($image, IMG_FILTER_COLORIZE, 0, 0, 255); // make it blue!
imagejpeg($image, 'filename.jpg');
