Есть ли возможность включить Doctrine's Query Caching для данного приложения? Пробовал в Configuration.class.php, но без удачи.

Вы можете добавить:

  public function configureDoctrine(Doctrine_Manager $manager)
  {

    $manager->setAttribute(Doctrine::ATTR_QUERY_CACHE, new Doctrine_Cache_Apc());
  }

к своему:

/<project_path>/apps/<app_name>/config/<app_name>Configuration.class.php
