Здесь я выбираю посты, но хочу получить комментарии к конкретному посту ..

Комментарии в Tumblr называются заметками.

По конкретному вопросу у вас есть толькоустановить для логического значения notes_info значение true по запросу API.Например:

Общий запрос API к публикации http://api.tumblr.com/v2/blog/peacecorps.tumblr.com/posts/text?api_key=PyezS3Q4Smivb24d9SzZGYSuhMNPQUhMsVetMC9ksuGPkK1BTt&notes_info

Запрос API к публикации с примечаниями http://api.tumblr.com/v2/blog/peacecorps.tumblr.com/posts/text?api_key=PyezS3Q4Smivb24d9SzZGYSuhMNPQUhMsVetMC9ksuGPkK1BTt&notes_info=true

Так что просто измените URL своего канала, и вам будет хорошо идти.
