PyCurl установлен, но не найден

Я пытался установить pycurl в virtualenv с помощью easy_install, и, похоже, он устанавливается правильно:

Однако при попытке использовать я получаю следующую ошибку:

Несмотря на то, что я четко вижу pycurl-7.19.0-py2.7-linux-x86_64.egg в моем каталоге ~/.virtualenvs/xxx/lib/python2.7/site-packages.

Будем весьма благодарны за любые предложения по решению этой проблемы!

Дистрибутив - Amazon Linux (EC2, 64-разрядная версия), Python - 2.7, установленный из исходного кода. curl, libcurl и libcurl-dev поставляются репозиториями Amazon yum и имеют версию 7.19.7-26.20.

Я не могу установить пакет pycurl, предоставляемый репозиториями Amazon, поскольку дистрибутивная версия python - 2.6, а мой проект - 2.7.

Мне удалось (с некоторой помощью) решить проблему.Проблема в том, что после установки pycurl.so не копируется в пакеты сайта для этого virtualenv.

При установке через pip -v install pycurl выдается следующий вывод:

Решением этой проблемы было изменение файла py.url setup.py и изменение строки 101 на --libs вместо --static-libs.Это приводит к успешному построению и копированию pycurl.so в каталог site-packages.

Обновление за 2015 год по этому вопросу.
Я столкнулся с этой установкой Pycurl на Mac под управлением Yosemite. Я изменил строку 150 в setup.py, как показано ниже: 

for option in ["--libs", "--static-libs"]:

до: 

for option in ["--libs"]:

Затем побежал: 

$>python setup.py install

После этого установка прошла отлично!
