Как аутентифицировать первичный ключ?

Я не могу аутентифицировать Transaction_Id, где это первичный ключ моей таблицы транзакций, в то время как я могу сделать это с email. в чем может быть проблема? Помогите. спасибо.

вот моя модель / транзакция:

def self.authenticate(email, transaction_id)
    user = Transaction.find_by_email(email)
    if user && user.Transaction_Id
      return user
    else
      return false
    end
end

вот мой контроллер / модификации:

    user = Transaction.authenticate(params[:email], params[:Transaction_Id])

        session[:email] = user.email

        redirect_to :action => "login"

  end

Вы проверяете только, есть ли в вашем найденном пользовательском объекте идентификатор транзакции, но не сравниваете этот идентификатор с данным идентификатором, поэтому попробуйте:

def self.authenticate(email, transaction_id)
    user = Transaction.find_by_email(email)
    if user && user.Transaction_Id == transaction_id
      return user
    else
      return false
    end
end

или (не знаю, работает ли)

def self.authenticate(email, transaction_id)
    user = Transaction.find_by_email_and_transaction_id(email, transaction_id)
    if user
      return user
    else
      return false
    end
end

короче:

# will return user if found; else nil
def self.authenticate(email, transaction_id)
    Transaction.find_by_email_and_transaction_id(email, transaction_id)
end
