Серый экран отображается на макете XML после переключения на Androidx

После переключения на Androidx, когда я возвращаюсь к своей активности xml, он показывает только серый экран с «androidx.constraintlayout .... ConstraintLayout»

Я пытался бездельничать с переключателем и переключать версию с ограниченным макетом, но безуспешно.

Кто-нибудь, пожалуйста, помогите мне с этим, потому что я не знаю, что делать.
